 Julie Kersting, Broker Owner of Pinon Real Estate Group BV, has deep ties to Buena Vista; she is a Buena Vista native, growing up and graduating from high school here. Julie, her husband Lon and their three children, Maryll, Lauren and Lane live and enjoy life in Buena Vista. Julie’s extended family, including her parents and three sisters, also live here in Buena Vista. Julie feels a strong commitment to the community and its members and feels privileged for the opportunity to give back to this generous and supportive valley. Julie enjoys volunteering with youth group, school events, diabetes prevention & fund raising, sorority, baseball and softball programs and is a member of several civic organizations including the local Rotary and the Optimist Clubs. Julie received her Paralegal Degree in 1984 and her Real Estate Agent license in 1985. She converted to a Broker Associate in 2001 then to an Employing Broker in 2006 when she and a partner opened the Pinon Real Estate Group franchise office in Buena Vista. Julie has extensive knowledge of Real Estate law, market conditions and of the Buena Vista area. Barry Dyer, originally from California, moved to Buena Vista in 1998 to enjoy life in the Rocky Mountains. He brings with him 25+ years of extensive financial expertise, having worked as the Chief Financial Officer in the international construction industry, and having invested in real estate along the way. Realizing that buying and selling real estate can be the best investment you will ever make, Barry provides clients with the necessary skill and care to help them make intelligent, will-informed decisions.  Mary Jane Dyer met Barry in San Francisco, having grown up in Texas and dreamed of life in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. She had a professional career as a CPA for over 12 years, from which she left to be at home with their young children. Inevitably, she always ended up working as a “part-time” financial consultant to her husband’s companies. She brings her love of people, relationships and our community to her clients, and focuses on their long-term interests. She works with Barry and Julie as a team, providing excellent client services.  Kate Ginther Sawyer is a native Texan, but moved to Salida in 1998 and then on to Buena Vista in 2007. Prior to that time, she spent 9 years in the restaurant business developing a love for customer service and working with the public. Kate has two sons; Cody, 5, and Gage, 2; they are her pride and joy. Working in real estate has allowed Kate the perfect balance of being a Mother and serving her clientele. Kate has volunteered with many organizations. Licensed in Colorado for 7 years, she has been both a realtor and an investor dedicated to finding solid real estate investments both for her clients and for herself. Kate knows buying or selling property is the single largest financial endeavor you will ever make; requiring unique training, skills, and careful handling.
